Karlbarri and the wild west woes.

Things were about to go very very “wild wild west” and we didnt even know it. This was the entrance to a livestock herding farm where we had landed some farmhand jobs. Those of you who think youve had a hard days work recently down the office,please believe me when i say your day will have been like a day at disneyland compared to a day on this farm. But before we get into that, check out the town of kalbarri and a spot of pelican feeding. Pretty much the quiet before the storm.
Ok, so the video below is just to show you the terrain we were working in. 45 degree heat….in the shade. Maybe the last few second of the video might give away what exactly what sort of farm we were working on.
yup……..we were rounding up WILD goats in a 250,000 acre wild land. Most of the days were spent in the blazing heat erecting fences as long as 50 kilometers. 12 hour days were common. Heres a snippet of the fence building to give you and idea. Imagine 12 hours of this.
